Purchased from Andrew Long, who acquired it via intermediary from Claud Butler builder Bill Gray.

Chater Lea rear dropouts; 721316 stamped on bottom bracket; 1569-1 also stamped on BB. Originally had a clippie headset steerer tube (with slot) dating it pre-war Claud Butler; steerer tube has been replaced via Andrew Long. Repaint by Mario Vaz.
